New posts another bust, ABC trying to make story stick

Today, Mike Rogers "outted" Ed Shrock, which I reported he outted in 2004 in the Washington Blade (as well as Foley) some time ago. See this link.

He also "outted" a staff secretary who had a public profile on MySpace - not a significant contributor to public policy.

ABC, meanwhile, has focused its stories on the FBI interview of Jordan Edmund. But what, exactly, is the FBI investigating? As reported previously, the Washington Post quoted the FBI as saying:

...Law enforcement officials said the allegations by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) are without merit, and they stood by allegations that the group had refused to provide some information to the FBI...

...Justice Department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse declined to comment on that issue but defended the FBI's handling of the original e-mails: "The e-mails, while inappropriate, did not contain a criminal predicate to allow the FBI to move forward in an investigation."...
