Another exemplary example of LNP dishonesty

First, I want to say that in some respects, I agree with Gil this week. People are drasticly overreacting to those killed in the Amish school shooting. Is there really any reason to fly American flags at half mast?

On the other hand, the article did contain factual errors about Iraq that for some reason - are completely ignored.

as horrific as the death of five Amish children was, that same day 52 people were killed in Iraq — but in our hypernationalism, their blood is irrelevant.

Wrong!

Violence in Iraq leaves 52 dead - AP Press

This story spans over several days, with deaths reported spanning more than a single day and was written on October 4, 2006. It quite clearly announces incidents on Tuesday and Wednesday and as far back as the previous week.

The Amish school shooting was on Monday, October 2nd.

Icasualties.org reports 9 KIA on that date. None of them were Amish school girls.
