Between March and May, Swann has been closing "the funding gap"

Source

Swann raised $1.27 million between the end of March and May 1, according to reports filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State. About 20 percent of that money, $250,000, came from the Republican Governor's Association.

Swann also got a little help from his running mate, Jim Matthews, and from the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania. Each contributed $50,000.

The governor raised $1.36 million in the same period.
